Kōkua Needed is a website where you can get informed and learn how to take action to help Protect and Preserve Our Cultural History and Community Rights in Hawaiʻi.

These eight regional plans provide the vision and implementing policies and guidelines for each of the areas.  They guide City land use approvals and infrastructure improvements and private sector investment decisions.  The protection and care of cultural sites in these areas are included as well as Public Rights of Way guidelines for Makai and Mauka access.

There are five main goals to this plan.

One of these goals is Sustaining

Kanaka Maoli Culture and Island Values.
